Information

In the middle of a grandiose and preserved site of the Cevennes, the castle of Poujol stands on a rocky spur at the end of the Valley Borgne on the northern borders of the massif of Aigoual. Its dominant position gives our guests a grand view from every room. In summer, the old pond built in the cut rock is put in water and allows to cool off. The castle has developed around a medieval tower and has been modified in the course of the centuries, according to the needs of the small owners lords to become the main house of a group of agricultural buildings. At the table d'hôte, a family kitchen with produce from the vegetable garden and local meat. The reservation is necessary.
