L’ABÎME DE BRAMABIAU

Information

You can hear Abime de Bramabiau in the distance before you actually discover it. To reach the site, you have to go down the trail on a 15-minute walk in a beech tree forest, which is quite nice in the summer and full of colors in autumn. You then finally see the gigantic crack in the rocks where the Bonheur river (‘Happiness river’) comes out.
Entering the labyrinth, you can feel the strength of nature. You will spend over an hour exploring this passage with a guide that is passionate and fascinating to listen to. When you realize that this crack still expands on over 10km, you will catch yourself thinking of becoming a speleologist.
The exit at the end of the tour is a tunnel where you can admire dinosaur prints.
