France, 2026, 1h30 – Directed by Pierre Le Gall, starring Alexis Manenti, Julian Swiezewski and Armindo Alves – Drama, Romance
Étienne is a dedicated and passionate lorry driver. Spent on the road week in, week out, at the expense of his love life, Étienne makes do with brief encounters in car parks with strangers. But when he meets Bartosz, a Polish lorry driver, his heart is swept off its feet.
This debut feature film, with its unusual title, offers an equally unique insight into the world of lorry drivers. A sensory and precise narrative, bathed in the visual beauty of the urban fringes where only lorries venture, the film serves as a magnificent backdrop to a particularly inspiring romance: one that two hard-working men manage to carve out from the globalised world that enslaves them.
