USA, 2026, 2 hours 52 minutes, directed by Christopher Nolan, starring Matt Damon, Tom Holland and Charlize Theron – Action, Fantasy, Epic Restricted – 12 years and over – French version
Twenty years after setting off for the Trojan War, King Odysseus finally returns to Ithaca, but his journey is fraught with adventures and trials.
“The Odyssey” is, first and foremost, a raw, intimate and sensory experience, accentuated by a jagged, uneven edit and an intoxicating soundtrack. Moreover, it’s rare to be so visually blown away, especially when the film also boasts the luxury of being well-written and intelligent.
