STAGE DE SONORISATION

Following the enthusiastic response to the first workshop, Amélie and Rio (Focon), two musicians who also specialise in sound engineering, are back to offer a new sound engineering workshop from 9 to 13 November 2026.

Price: €20 per day + Foyer Rural membership (€10).

– Day 1: The Path of Sound
What is sound? (theory of sound, behaviour of sound, etc.). What is sound engineering? Cables and equipment.

– Day 2: The analogue signal and its amplification
Connecting the venue’s sound system and an in-depth look at the analogue mixing desk.

– Day 3: Amplifying the voice
The amplified voice (microphones, equalisation, compression, effects, etc.). Connecting the venue’s sound system and further exploration of the analogue mixing desk.

– Day 4: Amplifying instruments
Microphone placement and balance. Connecting the venue’s sound system and further exploration of the analogue mixing desk. On the evening of Day 4, you’ll have the opportunity to handle the sound for a real live performance at Le Temple!

– Day 5: Sound Engineering and Improvisation
Review of the previous day’s sound engineering. Group exercise in sound production using various instruments, vocals or amplified sound objects. Connecting to the venue’s sound system and further exploration of the analogue mixing desk.
