Information
Lake Villefort (launched in 1964) is a lake of 135 hectares and more than 35 million m³, located in the heart of the Lozerian Cevennes, at an altitude of 610 metres.
It is classified "Great Inner Mountain Lake: 1st category" and offers a prime salmon farming potential. Many coves, inaccessible places of the shore, make fishing in boats a major interest here
Fishing is organized around a building called "Accueil Pêche et Nature du Lac de Villefort".
