Come and discover the second concentration of menhirs in France at the Bondons' Cham located on the Mont Lozère massif in the territory of the Cévennes National Park, registered at UNESCO. In this area, there are about 150 menhirs, 3 dolmens and 30 funeral mounds that have been listed. Nearly 20 menhirs were found, all cut in granite while they are erected on a limestone area located 2 or 3 km from the granite zones. Despite the difficulty of dating these menhirs, it is thought that the menhirs were carved at the same time as the dolmens is around -2500 to - 3000 before Jesus Christ, ie at the beginning of the sedentarization of the man.
