Despite the duality between chestnut trees and maritime pines, you can find everything that makes the Cévennes landscapes so charming: low walls, well-maintained chestnut groves, typical Cévennes farmhouse, panoramas over the valleys… along a well-shaded path.
Practical Advice
This trail is accessible to all. It can be done by mountain bike, but be careful between the start and point 1: the path is damaged! Take the road instead. Adapt your equipment for multi-day hikes, but also to the day's weather conditions. Remember that the weather changes quickly in the mountains. Be sure to bring plenty of water, good hiking boots, and a hat. Close all gates and fences securely.
