Information
The Nîmes-le-vieux trail offers a variety of landscapes typical of the Causse Méjean: stony and arid hillocks, deep earthen basins, ledges that rise like ramparts and vast expanses of jagged rocks whose shapes question and liberate the imagination.
Practical Advice
Horse riding and mountain biking are not permitted or suitable on the interpretive trails. Due to the presence of livestock guardian dogs: - we strongly advise you not to bring your dog with you on this walk. - we strongly advise you not to use the trail after 9 pm. Please close all gates along the route. A shorter alternative route (without information panels) is offered year-round by the Veygalier farm, starting from and around the hamlet of Veygalier (marked with blue squares): see the shorter variant.
