This unique trail around the Cévennes valleys allows you to discover a sprawling commune made up of several small, authentic hamlets, a characteristic feature of Cévennes architecture. Former silkworm farms, schist stone houses, chestnut groves... you will discover traces of a life deeply marked by agropastoralism.
Practical Advice
Do not block the entrance to the chalet (municipal maintenance building). Parking is available 100m further up the trail. This trail is not recommended in wet weather (slippery sections and stream crossings). There are numerous gates along this trail: please ensure you close them securely after passing through. Keep your distance from beehives. Adapt your equipment to the day's weather conditions. Remember that mountain weather can change quickly. Be sure to bring plenty of water, good hiking boots, and a hat.
