This varied loop alternates between wide tracks across limestone plateaus, singletrack through the undergrowth, and rocky trails. The final section is challenging but rewards you with a magnificent 360° panorama of the Grands Causses, Mont Lozère, and the beginning of the Cévennes valleys, from the Castelas viewpoint.
Practical Advice
Remember to bring water and food as needed. Make sure you close all gates and fences securely. Keep in mind that the weather can change quickly in the Cévennes.
