Information
This trail winds through the village of Vialas, situated where granite and schist meet. It retraces the village's history, from the arrival of the first inhabitants around the house of the Montclar family, lords of the manor in the 14th century, to the present day. It highlights the importance of the silver-lead mine in the development of this village, home to one of the oldest temples in the Cévennes.
Practical Advice
A trail through the village marked by thirteen panels, which can be discovered at your leisure as you wander through the streets. Urban path, please be careful. Wear good shoes, as some interpretive points are located at the end of a path which, in season, may be covered with chestnut husks.
