On this eastern part of the Sauveterre plateau, the loop offers panoramic views of the Aubrac mountains, the Causse Méjean plateau, and Mont Lozère, and passes through typical villages such as Vigos, Paros, Tonnas, and Nissoulogres. You will discover typical structures of the traditional rural heritage: a forge, a bell tower, a bread oven, and a sheepfold.
Practical Advice
Off-trail mountain biking is prohibited. Wearing a helmet is strongly recommended. Don't forget your repair kit and basic tools. Close all gates and fences securely. Slow down in farms and hamlets. Remember to bring water. Beware of livestock and guard dogs; dismount if necessary, and don't speed!
